ABOUT US

As an Electronics Technician serving in the Canadian Navy, we have had the pleasure of travelling the world, visiting many different countries and meeting many different peoples. Most of our travels have been in the Pacific, but some sailing has been enjoyed on the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and Indian Ocean, also. Having now spent a decade with the surface fleet, we intend to join the newly re-established West Coast Submarine Fleet. Our interests include bicycling, reading and collecting books of all kinds (especially science fiction), the study of military history, and most anything that has to do with learning something new. Knowledge is a gift that one bestows upon oneself.

Current Occupations and Time Consumers

Currently, there are a number of things which occupy our time. These are as follows:
    a. Building a recumbent bicycle;

    b. Learning the International Language of Esperanto;

    c. Reading classical texts (such as Plato's "Republic" and Milton's "Paradise Lost"); and,

    d. Spending countless (and probably much wasted) hours trying to build a concise and comprehensive website that will not make the reader fall off their chair in a catatonic state which resembles that of a comatose victim who has suffered severe damage to the cranial contents.
